Our volunteer board members guide the future of Colin & Friends Concerts with creativity, knowledge, integrity, and unending enthusiasm.
Rob Davis
With a career in commercial real estate and educational publishing, Rob actively contributes to organizations that improve life on the Door County peninsula. In addition to serving as President of Colin & Friends since its foundation, Rob is President of the Ephraim Historical Foundation, and past president of the Rotary Club of Door County North.
President
Sherry Moore
Sherry holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Early Childhood Education and Child Psychology. She has served on non-profit boards in several states, including the Ephraim Historical Foundation, Ephraim Moravian Church, and as Founder and Director of the EYC Aaron R. Moore Sailing Scholarship Fund at Door County Community Foundation.
Secretary
Bill Youmans
Bill earned his Bachelor’s degree in Radio, Television, and Film from Purdue University. He owns a film production company that has created national films and documentaries for over thirty years. Additionally, Bill’s experience in Finance has helped many business and arts organizations, for which he has provided valuable stewardship.
Treasurer
George Drost
George holds degrees from the University of Illinois, School of Law, and a J.D. from DePaul University. He taught as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School, and also has experience in banking. He served as the Honorary Consul of the Czech Republic, and has participated on boards of many charitable and community organizations in Door County. He is currently also on the board of the Ephraim Historical Foundation.

Hal Halvorsen
Hal holds a Master's degree in music education and a double degree in choral and instrumental music. Hal has a 37-year teaching career, including 26 years at international schools, specifically at the American School of Paris and the Rabat American School in Morocco. He brings his talents as a singer, pianist, and supporter of music education to the board.

Diane Kirkland
With 12 years at Billboard Magazine as Office Manager, Promotion Manager, and Conference Director in New York and Los Angeles, Diane has built a notable career in the music industry. She also served in Door County local government for twenty-six years. Diane was President of Peninsula Arts Theater and her work has been published in national and local publications for over forty years.

Ram Rojas
Ram is a professional artist, muralist, and sculptor whose artwork is showcased worldwide, from California and New York to Sweden, India, South America, and Florence, Italy. He has participated in theater as an actor and designer, and leverages his artistic talents to benefit the community, notably at the Clearing Folk School and for the Door County Land Trust.

Christine Saldanha
Christine holds a Master’s in Journalism from Marquette University. With over 30 years of experience in advertising and marketing, she has driven growth for global brands through strategic insights and award-winning creative solutions. Christine has contributed her talents to educational and arts organizations, and currently serves on the board of Northern Sky Theater.

Louise Trafelet
A marketing executive with extensive experience in advertising, public relations, sponsorship, and strategic planning. Louise worked for several advertising agencies before transitioning to the non-profit sector and leadership positions at Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo, Lincoln Park Zoo, Navy Pier, and Project Exploration. Since retiring, she has served on the Board of multiple non-profit organizations.

Judi Hundely
Judi has performed on Broadway and was a member of the Whittier Repertory Theater in California. She led significant fundraising efforts for The Cedarhurst Center for the Arts in Southern Illinois and served as an Administrative Counselor there. Judi also brings over 30 years of expertise in Human Resources Management to her role on the board.

Cynthia Stiehl
Cyndy holds a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from Lawrence University and remains a dedicated and busy vocal performer. She has extensive business and board experience and is President of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Door County, and served two terms as the Chairperson of the board of Northern Sky Theater.

Cyndi Sturtz
Cyndi holds a Master’s degree in marketing. She has over 40 years of experience in retail merchandising, recently leading eCommerce and digital marketing teams in the consumer packaged goods industry. An arts advocate, she has served on multiple arts boards in the Twin Cities and has been the artistic director of her local community theater for the past eight years.

I am thrilled to present Colin & Friends Concerts. Our one-of-a-kind, high-level concerts are never pretentious and are always surprising! We’ve seen exciting growth since we began performing in 2021. People of all ages who stopped in just to check out a concert will now never miss one! We are truly grateful to all our enthusiastic fans and donors who make our free performances possible – YOU are the ‘friends’ in Colin & Friends.
